On a lovely rainy Sunday morning, it's a great opportunity to post some new pictures. Celia's birthday presents have arrived, and the girls are loving having new wheels to play with. We checked out the Forestry Farm Park and Zoo recently, it's 5 minutes away from our house and admission is free from October through April. Full of native animals and with a few fun non-natives including a lion pair and 2 new cubs, it's a real treat. It reminds us of Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane in that it's [mostly] a zoo of animals that would typically be in those parts or that were, once upon a time. It doesn't feel like the animals are really out of place or suffering under the conditions. Upon observing the two grizzly bears in their enclosure sleeping in mud holes, Edie now wants her own mud hole to sleep in. That can definitely be arranged.
